Clubs and Detention in schools

There will be plenty of clubs at your school- chances to play more sport, make music or develop other interests. Make the most of these opportunities, but don’t take on too much. You’ll need time and energy for your home life and social life. Some schools have a Christian Union, which is a lunchtime or after school club where young people go to find out more about God. You can think the clubs are boring or full of odd people, you may be wrong, but you will never really know until you try!

Some schools keep students in at lunchtime or after school if they forget homework or break school rules. Detention is s waste of everyone’s time, so it’s best to keep out of it. If you do end up in detention, try to behave, or you will end up in another one.
